54 hour movie project

Why I'm doing this: I'm taking the summer off before I finish my last semester of grad school. I'd promised myself that I would use my time to do something creative. To that end, I agreed to be part of the 54-hour movie project.
Filmmaking: I have very limited experience making films. I've messed around a bit here and there. I shot "Up there its their time, up there..." on my Nokia 3650 and cut it with iMovie.

Filmmaking: I wish to film people running. That is really about it.

Why I'm doing this: I'm Allergic to Mondays!
Filmmaking: I have been in love with movies and moviemaking for as long as I can remember. I also remember all of my failed attempts at moviemaking! This began with purchasing a super-8 camera in 5th grade and shooting an animated parody of Jurassic Park (consisting of hundreds of hand-drawn tracing paper "cels," claymation, cut-outs and the contortions of my own face (in a faux-experimental sequence credited to "Guest Director Oliver Stone")) and ended with purchasing a single-CCD miniDV camera in 12th grade and shooting several crappy shorts and one hilarious sketch show (http://www.wrestlingteam.org). In between were several unfinished music videos and unhilarious sketch shows shot on VHS. I also shot a few projects for school on 8mm and 16mm b/w reversal stock. All were in various states of over- and underexposure. I hope to be rich someday so I can shoot on either high def video or 35mm stock.
